Pre Event Information
Can tickets be purchased on the event day?
No, tickets must be purchased before the event. Please ensure all tickets are booked prior to the event online or through our Community Manager, Hiywet.
Can I register for one day pass?
Yes, you are able to register for a one day pass up to a week before the event. Please contact our Community Manager, Hiywet for more information.
I’m a student, can I receive a discount?
We offer discounts to a select number of students. For further information, please contact Hiywet.
I’m part of a charity, can I receive a discount?
We offer discounts to a select number of charities and non-profits. For further information, please contact Hiywet.
What is the agenda comprised of?
Everyone will start in the main plenary until 11:30 where the breakout rooms open. All attendees will end the day back in the main plenary from 17:20 for Closing Remarks
How do I sign up to workshops?
Diamond and Platinum ticket holders
Diamond and Platinum ticket holders have priority access to all workshop sessions. An email detailing how to sign up to workshops will be sent out 2 weeks before the event. Diamond and Platinum ticket holders will receive access to a maximum of 5 workshops across both days.
Gold ticket holders
Gold ticket holders will be sent an email with the workshop details 1 week before the event. Gold ticket holders will receive access to a maximum of 3 workshops across both days.
Silver ticket holders
Silver ticket holders do not have access to workshop sessions.
What will I receive ahead of the event?
You will receive a confirmation email after purchasing your ticket.
We will email you fortnightly and weekly leading up to the event. You will receive speaker, content & event specific information.
In the lead up to Women in Construction USA 2020, your QR code and confirmation number will be sent to your inbox. Please print this and bring it with you to the conference so that you can collect your badge from the kiosks at registration.

Event Days Information
What times does the event start & finish?
Registration opens at 08:00 am on Day 1 and Day 2 with the first session starting at 09:15 am.
The last session will end at 17:40 pm on Day 1 where you are then invited to join us for networking drinks for one-hour. On Day 2, the event finishes at 15:40 pm.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the time instructed within the email that contains your QR code.
What is the dress code?
We recommend smart casual for the event.
Will there be somewhere where I can store my bags & coats?
There will be a chargeable cloakroom available to all attendees.
Will food be provided?
Light refreshments, including tea, coffee and networking drinks, will be available throughout the day free of charge.
Lunch can be purchased on-site at the various catering stations within the hall.
Is there a prayer room?

Will there be a first aider onsite?
There will be a first aider onsite. Please notify the organisers or venue staff in case of a medical emergency.
Can I leave feedback?
Maddox Events, the organisers of Women in Construction USA 2020, welcome feedback. An online survey will be circulated post-event.
I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
A refund is applicable if you cancel up to 90 days before the event. Please contact Hiywetfor assistance with this.
Post Event Information
How can I access videos from the conference?
Diamond, Platinum and Gold ticket holders have access to videos of all main stage talks online after the event. The videos will be sent to you via email approximately 2 months after Women in Construction USA 2020.
Are the presentation slides available post event?
This is up to the speakers discretion. Speakers will share how to receive the slides post event.
